Soreze Gel Advance is a unique film-forming wound dressing of traditional herbs and natural essential oils in silicone elastomers that locks moisture inside the bedsore wound. It is a transparent, semi-occlusive advanced film-forming wound dressing that helps bedsore wound healing

On application, it dries to form a thin and flexible, water-repellent, protective film that remains in constant contact with the damaged skin. This film keeps the area moisturized and nourished and promotes skin integrity and healing. The herbal ingredients promote wound healing and provide anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial action.

Moisture-locking silicone elastomer base, Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, Centella asiatica extract, Oils of calendula, Flaxseed, Almond, Tea Tree, Geranium, Vitamin E and Cinnamon.

Cleanse: Ensure that the affected skin or superficial wound is clean and dry. Gently pat dry as much excess exudate or wound fluid from the area as possible prior to the gel application.

Apply: Apply a thin layer on the wound and its surrounding area

Dry: Allow it to dry for 2-3 minutes if not using any dressing if dressing follow the next step

Dress: Use clean dressing to cover the wound.

Apply twice daily or every time the dressing is changed until the wound is healed.

Soreze is dermatologically tested and is safe for daily use. We have tested it for biocompatibility as per US FDA guidelines and it is proven to be non-irritating and non-sensitizing. It does not contain any allergens or harmful chemicals or animal-origin ingredients.

Bedsores or pressure sores are ulcers that happen on areas of skin that are under pressure for a long time. Commonly found in people who are bedridden, immobile for long, unconscious, or unable to sense pain. Constant pressure on a particular part of the skin like the buttocks, back, the heel of the feet, shoulder blades, back of the head, sides of the knees, and others, leads to pressure injuries also called decubitus ulcers. Reduction in blood supply for hours together in the skin and underlying tissues will result in the death of the skin, followed by painful red spots that eventually turn purple. Such soreness of skin when left untreated will result in infections and can take months or years to heal.

Early signs of bedsores include:

1. Part of the skin becomes discolored – people with pale skin tend to get red patches, while people with dark skin tend to get purple or blue patches

2. An area of skin that feels cooler or warmer to the touch than other areas

3. Swelling

4. A patch of skin that feels warm, spongy, or hard

5. Pus-like draining

People at risk of developing bed sores are - elderly, bedridden people, or patients with mobility issues Typically following patients are at risk:

Stroke/Paralysis

Patients on oxygen/BiPap/ ventilator

Post-surgical cases with limited mobility or on complete bed rest

Neurosurgery

Orthopedic patients (hip and spine surgery) on complete bed rest and/or with reduced mobility

Terminally ill patients e.g. coma, patients on life support systems including ventilators, etc.

Bedridden patients or patients in wheelchairs

Patients with long hospitalization

Moisture Locking Technology:

Soreze Advance Gel works by forming a long-lasting, water-repellant and protective occlusive film over the wounds or bedsores. This film keeps the area moisturized and nourished and promotes skin integrity & healing. Locked in moisture helps to facilitate the healing process of the wound. The ultra-thin film formed by the gel protects the skin from exposure to moisture and body fluids like urine & fecal matter thereby protecting the wounds or bedsores from microbial infection that can be caused due to pathogenic microorganisms.

Herbal Extracts of Gotu Kola

: It has Centella Asiatica extract (gotu kola) that is used in traditional remedies for wound healing. Pure Centella asiatica extract helps in repairing the skin and prevents & treats scars. It works by promoting collagen synthesis, stimulating cell migration from the surrounding tissues at the affected area, and positively influencing angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels).

Natural Essential Oils:

It contains a uniquely crafted blend of 3 Essential oils – Geranium Oil, Tea Tree Oil & Cinnamon Oil. These oils work synergistically to exert anti-inflammatory & anti-microbial effects on the wound thereby promoting effective wound healing.

No, Soreze Advance Gel does not contain any drug or medicine so a prescription is not required.

The film formed by Soreze Advance Gel need not be removed, it automatically wears off. However, in case it has to be removed, it can be washed off with mild soap water or any other mild cleansers. Do not rub vigorously while washing or cleaning.

Avoid direct contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Soreze Advance Gel is for external use only.
